analysis of the social movements in the middle east with an emphasis on the components of edward said's orientalism

social movements has occurred in the middle east and north africa in recent years, fell apart many regional and golobal equations. in this paper was shown, the origins of the formation of the movement with aspect the components of edward said's orientalism. the method of the present research libraries and documenteries. the results of this study was show that the notion of orientalist discourse said was one the underlying the development of resistance, on the other hand margin by inserting the other (east) in the text, through the formation of a universal set of ideas shape the decenteration society. the idea of the universality weakens the doualism logic the west, on the other hand, was a symbol for borders in orientalist discourse. so this local identity and islamic extremism was leads to the formation of a multicenter and challenges discursive legitimacy the west. said believed that we should not deal with the fundamentals of the west of confronting the orientalism, but with the emphasis on universal values such as freedom, monotheism, the rejection of oppression and discrimination, justice, rational, peaceful, human rights and human dignity which is rooted in the islamic world, resisted the idea of the orientalism. so the idea of universal that is rooted in islamic culture. the countries through the emphasis on the idea of a universal confronting the orientalist discourse, and able to create a independent identity based on islamic culture.
